Present Perfect Continuous – Results of an action
![I'm tired because I've been running.](https://oneworldofenglish.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/running.jpg)
We use the present perfect continuous when the action has finished but we can still see or feel the results so, as with always in the present perfect, there is a connection between the past and present.
